The Veterinary Treatment Facility runs clinics by appointment only. Fees are charged for all vaccinations and medications at reduced rates, compared to the civilian community. Services provided to privately owned animals are: vaccinations, parasite control (including heart worm) and treatment for zootomic diseases (those considered communicable to people). Active Duty and Retired Military personnel may use the veterinary clinic. All individuals who live on base and have pets must register their pets at the veterinary.

Ladies’ Home Journal conducted a poll and found that 80 percent of the 1,106 people who particapted copped to using baby talk with their pets,when no one else was around. Seventy percent admitted to talking baby talk in front of others.
